The new first year Bible School curriculum is finished and live, ready for your church to impact your community with God’s Word.
To do this, we’ve created a customisable marketing kit to promote your Bible School campus and invite others.
Here are some technical points to help you get the most out of these resources:
Most of the designs have been set up in Powerpoint or Word so that each church can insert their own text/info in the design.
These include the following:
- Facebook header
- A3 poster
- Church announcement slides,
- Whatsapp invite/announcement image
- Email banner
STEP 1:
Install the font used (TradeGothicLTStd-BdCn20), which is provided in the marketing kit to download.
Do this before opening Powerpoint or Word, or otherwise restart the programmes after installing the font.
In some cases the font might still not appear automatically on the slide. Then you can simply select it in the font type dropdown menu.
STEP 2:
Enter your church’s details in the template. The content of the text is up to you, we do however recommend that you stay roughly within the size of the textbox in the design. This is purely for design purposes (legibility of the info) to make your image work at its full potential.
For the Facebook Header image however it is especially important to stay in the height of the text box as Facebook displays the header differently on mobile and desktop devices. Please check your header/cover image on both a desktop/laptop and smartphone after uploading it to make sure it doesn’t crop parts of the text.
STEP 3:
Once you’re happy with your design, export the file.
In Powerpoint: Export the image as a jpg by going to File > Export > JPG
In Word: Save the poster as a PDF by clicking File > Save as > PDF
When printing the A3 Poster PDF file, make sure to select the “scale to printable area” tick box, or else the edges of the poster will be cut off. The A3 PDF file can double up as an A4 poster as well!
The kit contains some ready-made designs as well that are non-customisable, such as signage posters with directional arrows. These designs can be used as is.
