Welcome to this year’s marketing and production kit for your Awaken women’s events! We hope these resources will make your planning a joy and assist you to facilitate beautiful encounters with our Lord.

Some general guidelines
- When selecting photos of speakers or other photos to use in their place, black and white/grayscale photos are preferrable, since this eliminates the risk of jarring, clashing colours that detract from the aesthetic.
- Templates are mostly in Microsoft Powerpoint or Word*, with different jpeg background options provided in the folder.

How to use these files
1. Look Book
The booklet provides an overview of the look and feel for this year’s Awaken Women’s Ministry, an aesthetic that was developed prayerfully and with consideration of current trends and event needs. These pages will give you an idea of the look we’re going for, and serve as a good starting point for your own creative ideas and interpretation.

2. Logos
Different versions of the Awaken logo to use in your designs.
3. Fonts
This folder contains the fonts used in this year’s designs. These have been carefully selected to reinforce the message and aesthetic we would like to convey with this year’s theme.
To use them, install the fonts before opening the design documents. Click on the font file in the folder and select “Download”. Open the downloads folder on your computer, double click on the font file and select “Install Font”. When you open a program such as Word or Powerpoint, the font should now be listed in the Fonts-menu. Please make sure Powerpoint has not replaced the fonts with its default fonts (see notes in Powerpoint documents).
Please refer to the Fonts page in the look book as a reference for how to combine these fonts in a design or document.
4. Marketing
This folder contains the following files and templates for marketing your event beforehand:
- Announcement and speaker slides
- Invitation cards
- Posters
- Web images (web banners, thumbnails etc)
- Image archive – a collection of images you can use in your designs. Here we’ve provided high-resolution, royalty-free photos from Unsplash, as well as the gold foil backgrounds that feature in the designs. These were purchased from Creative Market by the Support Centre for use in Awaken designs. You’re welcome to use them as you wish.
- Social media – templates for marketing your event online and on Whatsapp. The templates are in Powerpoint. Text, background images and shapes are all editable. The elements (different images for backgrounds, different coloured shapes) are provided in the folder.
Keep an eye on the Awaken pages on Facebook and Instagram, as these will also be updated with shareable content.
5. Production
Here you’ll find designs to help make your event effective and memorable.
- Slide sets for the speaker’s messages and projecting other information on the day. Feel free to change the backgrounds/move around the elements as needed.
The background image has been embedded into the Powerpoint file (this has been done to keep the file small, otherwise it can cause problems), but this can easily be changed. If you would prefer to use one of the other background images provided, simply open the Powerpoint template. Click View > Slide Master. Choose Background Styles > Format Background. Under Picture Source, click Insert and select the image from your computer. Click Apply To All.
- Stationery – The stationery has been kept very simple and minimalistic to complement the décor. If you can, print these designs on a thicker, better quality paper than regular printing paper.
- Welcome Posters: Get creative with the medium! These can be printed on white/off white card, or on a transparent medium (see look book for examples).
- Scripture Posters: Print these out on good quality card paper and display them in gold, white or light wood frames.
- Name/Prayer Cards: Pick your style, pray for the women attending your event, and edit the text on these images with their names and a special message. You can also do handwritten name/prayer cards on paper with real gold foil as seen in the look book’s mood board.
