In the wake of Convergence 2019, we feel the Lord is speaking to us from Ezekiel 36.

But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.  Ezekiel 36:8

Building on this, we have created a new slide set for church services with variations of mountain imagery as we explore the symbolism of mountains in Scripture.

You won’t need to install any new fonts for these slides to display correctly. All text added by you can be Arial or any other similar font you have available and know will display correctly during a Sunday service from the production computer/laptop.

The slide set includes the following:

Ready-made Powerpoint slideshows in

* Afrikaans and English

* Standard screen and widescreen format.

There are seven themes with a variety of images that should be able to suit many sermon topics.

Graphic elements for all themes

You can use the ready-made Powerpoint slideshows just as they are, but if you wish (and have the time!), you can customise them. We have included the graphic elements in the slide set for this purpose.

This folder includes:

* Text: the headings on each slide (i.e. Welcome, Offering) as png (image) files, in two variations of fonts: The main serif font used in the ready-made slides (Baskerville – classic, elegant) and Shofar’s sans serif corporate font (Trade Gothic – clean, modern) should you wish to rather use the latter.

* Four variations of the little mountains-logo above the headings

* The Shofar S-logo and Shofar Christian Church logos in white with no background.

* The background images used in the Powerpoint files as jpeg files, with some additional images as options.

Feel free to move elements and text around if text is not legible. The darker the background, the better the white text will stand out. Just make sure changes made are consistent throughout the slide show (i.e. if you move one heading to the centre of the page, move the rest as well).

Use a darker block (black rectangle with transparency between 60%-70%) over the entire background image on slides that contain a lot of text to bring out the white font, as demonstrated in the ready-made Powerpoint slides.
