Giving donations and assisting church members is part of every day church activities, but keeping track of these or remembering why a donation was given could be very difficult, especially when the external auditors request reasons a year later.
It is for this reason that we ask that each donation or financial aid provided to a church member out of church funds be logged. This will enable us to confirm that authorisation for each donation was made.
You can download the following Word template, please fill in and save a copy for your own bookkeeping, and forward a copy to finance@shofaronline.org

Save the document as Pdf version as part of your financial documents
If this is a once off donation, just file under the correct month’s bank account on SharePoint
However if this is recurring, please copy the pdf document in each of the month/year folders to what it relates to on Sharepoint.
